Advanced: How To - Set Up and Manage Your Blog
The Blog tool is a premium feature only our paid AresBuilder subscribers have access to. The Blog tool helps you to easily and seamlessly post to and manage a Blog for your site. Blogs are not only entertaining to read and write, but are a great way to drive traffic to your website. People are looking for websites with relevant content that interests them. Having an engaging Blog that touches readers emotionally in some way will inevitably lead to more traffic on your site as viewers share your blog with their friends, or post it on their own page or blog.

And without further ado, let's get started blogging!
First, we have to set up your blog. To do so, access your Dashboard. If you are on a free account, you will first need to upgrade to a paid account. If you are already on a paid account, you will see a blog button appear in between the Control Panel and Site Editor buttons. Click on this blog button to get started.
You should now be on the Blog Settings page. The first time you visit this page, it will look pretty empty because your blog is not yet set up.
To set up your blog, you will need to decide on a title, and a description of your blog. The title and description will appear on the blog page on the right, and will add some additional content and information for your blog readers to get to know you and what your blog is about. Try to make the description brief, informative, and entertaining for your readers!

Once you've settled on your title and description, click the green Save Changes button in the upper right corner.
You'll see a message above your blog settings saying your changes have been saved, indicating you've successfully created your blog! Congratulations!
Now it's time to fill your blog with some posts so your readers have something to look at!
Look below where you set your blog title and description. You will see a heading that reads Posts. At first, it will say "No posts currently." Let's change that by clicking on the green "Create new post" button in the upper right corner of this section.
This will take you to the blog post page. You will be asked to give your blog post a title, and then you will see a large text area where you can type in your post content. You can format the text, insert links, add images, and more. Once you are happy with your blog title and content, click on the green "Save Post" button in the lower right corner to save your masterpiece!
Saving will return you to the blog editor page, where you may then return to your dashboard, site editor, or create another new post.
Should you ever wish to modify or delete an existing blog post, you will see a pencil icon and a trash can icon to the right of every blog post title.
